In response to a question from a deputy on the migration crisis, Minister of the Interior Kamel Feki stated that those who preceded him before he arrived at the head of the Ministry of the Interior inked conventions and they agreed to make Tunisia a land of reception and accommodation for sub-Saharan migrants.
“We are people of integrity and honesty. We have removed, in accord with neighbouring countries, the criteria set in place to make Tunisia a country for hosting migrants,” confirms the Minister of the Interior.
“We accept migrants but within the limits of our reception capacities set by international standards,”adds Mr Feki
