The Presidents’ Convention is the first of its kind, stated Second deputy Speaker of The House of People’s Representatives “HPR” Tarak Ftiti.
The principal aim of it is to organise the operation of the Parliament, in general, consent on the work schedule and the primacy of laws, he pointed out.
In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, he affirmed that the convention suspension is due to delay in forming the government in particular.
He said that the drafts are essentially due to the government that presents it to Parliament committees, adding that it was programmed in the month of March, but the Locddkown caused its delay.
In the same context,he remarked that signing Government Stability and Solidarity was expected and Kind of a strange. He further explained that there are differences between the government coalition and the parliamentary alliance.
Our speaker added that throughout this parley, work will be carried to settle the committees’ opinions and the government correspondence to arrange the work schedule for the remainder of the parliamentary term for this session. He concluded to say that the first portion of the conference included a set of proposals during which no decision was taken, emphasising the likelihood of an exceptional session.
