Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) today congratulated Najla Bouden on his Twitter post on her appointment as prime minister of Tunisia.

“Congratulations, Najla Bouden Romdhan, on your appointment as the first female Prime Minister of #Tunisia. I wish you all the best in your new role and I look forward to working with you towards ending the #COVID19 pandemic and #HealthForAll, he wrote.
