The director-general of the National Institute of Consumption (INC), Mourad Ben Houssine declared the launch of a new application called “Code Online” to enable consumers to know about the retail prices of various products food, in partnership with the Tunisian Consumer Defense Organization.
Speaking to the TAP agency,Mr Ben Houssine further pointed out that the experimental operations of this application have been achieved and put on the information distributors of the Ministry of Commerce.
He additionally indicated that the application will be launched during the second half of March, under the supervision of the aforementioned ministry In addition, he emphasised that “Code Online” will allow its user to know in all transparency the prices of the products and to make a contrast to go to the places where the prices are most affordable.
