The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution on Wednesday requesting that Russia end all military operations within Ukraine. The resolution was backed by the greater part of the 193-member assembly.

The resolution was put forth following an emergency two-day UNGA session regarding the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
