Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared on Friday that Russia is expected to “storm” Kiev tonight.
“I must say absolutely frankly, this night will be more difficult than the day. Many cities of our country are under attack… Particular attention is given to Kiev. You can’t lose the capital,” Zelensky said in a video posted on his personal social media page.
He likewise alleged that Kiev’s “main goal is to end this massacre” and that “the enemy’s losses are very, very serious.”
