UNGA to vote Tuesday on Gaza cease-fire

The UN General Assembly (UNGA) will reportedly vote on Tuesday on a draft resolution that will demand an immediate cease-fire in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Arab News reported on Monday.

Sometime later, the UNGA President Dennis Francis confirmed in a post on social media platform X that the Emergency Special Session will resume on Tuesday. This event comes following the US veto concerning the UN Security Council’s demand for a humanitarian cease-fire in Gaza on Friday.
