WHO approves Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine

The World Health Organization approved Friday Sinopharm’s COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use, Director-General Tedros Adhanom declared.
The Chinese vaccine received the green light to be used in all adults older than 18, signalling the world that the jab is safe and efficient. The vaccine will accordingly now be able to enter the COVAX global vaccine program.
