An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 struck Vanuatu, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) stated on Thursday.
The quake’s epicentre was recorded 59 kilometres east of the city of Luganville. The earthquake hit at a depth of 125.7 kilometres.
