Tunisie Numérique’s photojournalist was attacked during his coverage of the UGTT meeting at the Conference Palace in the capital.

Some people, who are assumed to be in charge of organizing, pushed reporters and photographers who were not assigned a place separating them from the rest of the audience, particularly in the place where Taboubi made the statements, which led to the fall of our photojournalist, the latter was injured and bruised.

Tunisie Numérique denounces the aforementioned attack and expresses its profound dissatisfaction with the poor organization and chaos that this event saw.

It is noteworthy that many journalists in the UGTT meeting have voiced their dissatisfaction with the state of chaos and crowding, particularly after the end of Noureddine-Taboubi’s speech, as hundreds of people rushed to reach the place where the Secretary-General gave statements to journalists to shake hands and take photos with him.

Organizers of this meeting failed intentionally or unintentionally in the imbalance between the capacity of space and the number of invitees.
