According to the organizers, the opening ceremony will begin at 7:25 p.m. in Tunisia (GMT+1). It will be 6:25 p.m. local time (watch video).

The Franco-Ivorian group Magic System, Nigerian artist Yemi Alade, and Egyptian rapper Mohamed Ramadan will perform the AFCON 2023 anthem “Akwaba”.

Top start of AFCON 2024 this Saturday evening, the host nation, Ivory Coast, will meet Guinea-Bissau in the opening match (8 p.m. local, 9 p.m. in Tunisia).
