Senegal started the defence of its African champion title with a win against Gambia (3-0) this Monday in Yamoussoukro in the group stage of the competition.
The “Lions” won with goals from Marseillais Pape Gueye (4) and Messin Lamine Camara (52, 86), against the “Scorpion” reduced to ten before the break, after the exclusion of Ebrima Adams (45 +8), for a nudge to Lamine Camara.
