China’s National Space Administration (CNSA) declared on Thursday that it has successfully docked its manned Shenzhou-12 spaceship to the nation’s Tianhe space station.
The spacecraft, carrying a three-member crew, was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center earlier today, marking Beijing’s first manned space mission since 2016.
The Asian country intends to have the national space station fully operational in 2022
