French Prime Minister Jean Castex declared on Thursday that the pandemic situation in the country is worsening, and revealed that the Paris area will be placed under a stricter set of rules.
The measures will take effect on Friday, and remain in place for at least 4 weeks, he concluded. During this time, only the necessary stores will be allowed to stay open.
