The Japanese government has decided to tighten its border controls for travelers from three more African nations to prevent the spread of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19, the Foreign Ministry announced.
The country will require a 10-day quarantine for arrivals from Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia, adding the nations to the list with South Africa, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana and Lesotho.
