President of the National Salvation Front (French: FSN) Ahmed Nejib Chebbi called on the government to unveil the truth about the absence of President of the Republic Kais Saied who made the last official public appearance on March 22.
Under the 2022 Constitution, The temporary vacancy of the Presidency of the Republic stipulates that the Prime Minister must run the affairs of the State for a temporary period, Chebbi told a press conference held on Monday.
The FSN President emphasized that the state of permanent vacancy poses a serious challenge due to the lack of consultations of the Constitutional Court.
“The public opinion has the right to know what is taking place within the Palace of Carthage,” he pointed out.
