A shooting incident in the United Kingdom’s city of Plymouth resulted in multiple fatalities, the local police department confirmed on Thursday.
“There have been a number of fatalities at the scene and several other casualties are receiving treatment,” a spokesperson for the police department said to the press.
According to previous reports issued by the local media, which have now been confirmed by the law enforcement officials, a “serious firearms incident” happened in the city’s Keyham district. The police have cordoned off the area and urged the public to avoid the area due to road closures
