Following the assassination of Chadian President Idriss Déby and the subsequent halt of flights, 15 Tunisian engineers were stranded in Chad.
The latter reached their colleagues in Tunisia who, in turn, called on the Tunisian authorities to intervene to evacuate the engineers, particularly as Tunisia has neither an embassy nor a consulate in Chad.
They expressed fears that the security situation will worsen in the coming days, adding that the situation is currently stable.
