The education ministry has decided to blend the second and third trimesters 2 and 3, into a single assessment period from January 04 till the end of the school year, Kamel told TAP on Tuesday. Hajjem, Director of the National Center for Training and Skills at the ministry of eductaion Kamel Hajjem told the TAP.
The two days of vacation in the second quarter, registered for February 4 and 5, have been removed, while maintaining the spring vacation scheduled for next March, the same source added. These decisions come after a working session held Tuesday at the national center for training and skills development with the participation of the Minister of Education Fathi Slaouti, at the head of a delegation from the ministry, and in the presence of the Secretaries-General of various unions in the education sector under the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT).
The participants stressed the necessity to guarantee the standards of hygiene and safety to the various students and educational framework as well as to all the personnel of the educational establishments.
