An 84-year-old woman died today May 23, 2020, at Abderrahmen Mami Hospital in Ariana a few days after being placed in the intensive care unit.

According to the TAP agency, the woman was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19. She tragically passed away from kidney complications after recovering from the virus.

She will be buried according to health protocols placed by the health ministry.
