Tunisia-Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to deposit US$ 150 million in the Central Bank of Tunisia

President Kais Saied and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune expressed a convergence of views on several issues addressed during the head of state official visit to  Algeria.

As a step to enhance and solidify the relationship between the two brotherly countries, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune will deposit a sum of US$ 150 million in the Central Bank of Tunisia.

The two Presidents displayed their comfort at the exceptional level of bilateral relations, emphasising the commitment to strengthen these relationships according to a new approach based on the ambitions of the people of both countries.

Both counterparts stressed the need for a peaceful resolution in Libya without foreign intervention. Furthermore, they solidified the central role of Tunisia and Algeria in reaching a final settlement.

Speaking on the Palestinian cause, Both presidents affirmed that there is no resolution without consolidating the national right of the Palestinian people to an independent state based on the 1967   borders with Jerusalem as its capital.
