President Kais Siaed was officially received by Algerian president Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The head of the state was warmly welcomed in an official ceremony at Houari Boumediene Airport whereby a parade was performed by the three armies and the national anthems of both countries were played. The two counterparts greeted high ranking officials and ministers.
President Saied headed then to the Martyrs’ Memorial, Algiers to recite Al-Fatiha and laid a wreath of flowers.
President Kais Saie and his delegation also visited the National Museum of El Mujahid where they’re was Introduced to the most important milestones of Algeria between 1830 and 1962. The president wrote in The museum’s golden record and was bestowed with a commemorative plaque.
Finally, the head of the state then headed to the presidential palace to begin bilateral talks with Abdelmadjid Tebboune
