MP Badreddine Gammoudi asserted yesterday that the measures declared yesterday by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied were anticipated given that they are part of the organization of public authorities. He added that these measures intend to amend the Constitution by maintaining certain sections while announcing the suspension of the sections relating to the executive and legislative powers.
Gammoudi said the measures announced are required to be able to appoint a new government without going through Parliament. In the same context, he welcomed the new presidential measures, calling for the need to explain the financial situation of deputies.
