Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,Financial and economic expert Bassam Naifer reported today, Thursday, February 1, 2024, that the new actions approved by the Central Bank concerning banking transactions would ease the burden, particularly on individuals whose monthly income does not surpass 1,500 dinars, as it would enable them to make a financial profit.
He stressed l that it is necessary to underscore that these procedures concern the normal use of bank accounts because people who obtain bank facilities cannot profit from these new procedures.
Our speaker confirmed that these bank facilities, or what is known as “rouge,” necessarily cost their owners notable percentages of interest, are calculated employing the many established methods and are not included in any of the new procedures.
