Officers from the Bizerte Sud National Guard station seized around 25 tonnes of subsidized sugar from the home of a local resident.
A responsible security source said the person has been held in detention pending the completion of the investigation.
In coordination with the regional trade delegate in Bizerte, the commercial agents went on-site to inspect the goods seized and to complete the legal procedures.
