The Health Minister Faouzi Mahdi announced the dismissal of many officials after Dr Badreddine Aloui tragic death:
The dismissed personal include the follows:
- General Director of Public Health Structures
- General Director of the Center for Technical Studies, Biological and Hospital Maintenance
- Exempting the head of the medical commission at the regional hospital in Jendouba and halting its activities until the conclusion of the inspection tasks.
- Interim regional director of health
- In charge of managing the regional administration of health in Jendouba
- In charge of maintenance in the hospital will be suspended until the result of the inquiry is finished
The Minister vowed to implement what was passed during the Regional Health Council in Jendouba, which was held on October 3, 2020, reads a statement by the ministry.
It was also decided to designate Colonel Abdeljabbar Khalouli, director of maintenance and technical studies of the military hospital in Tunis, to head a team responsible for inspecting and evaluating security measures in the different public hospitals.
It was also decided to double the funds devoted to maintenance in the budget of the Ministry of Health in 2021.
