Tunisian health authorities revealed on Sunday that the infection tally has hit 260,044 after 1709 cases were identified on April 3.
During the same time, there have been 34 deaths, pushing the death toll to 8965.
Meanwhile, the recovery increased by 260 to 219,035.
1480 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 352 in intensive care units and 111 under ventilators in public and private health facilities
