In a statement, published this Wednesday, October 7, 2020, the Interior Ministry declared the closure of the department’s “Citizen Space” after the infection of two officials with the Coronavirus.
According to the press release, the Citizen’s Space will be closed while performing the needed analyzes in such cases on all staff working in this space. As for citizens, they will be informed of their reopening. The Citizen’s Space will also be fully disinfected, adds the same source.
“These measures aim to preserve the safety of citizens who request the services of this space and to provide the necessary protection to the officers and executives of the department in question,” the statement said.
