Tunisia: Dams 33% full, as of January 19, 2024

According to the latest ONAGRI statistics, Tunisian dams are 33% full as of Friday, January 19, 2024. This rate is assessed at 33.7% for the Sidi Salem dam (Béja) and 44% for the Sidi Salem dam (Béja). Sidi el-Barrak (Béja).

As of January 19, 2024, overall reserves in dams attained 763.9 million m3, compared to 632.579 million m3 on the same day in 2023.

The overall contributions to dams over the period from September 1, 2023, to January 18, 2024, stood at 370.276 million m3, a considerable decline compared to the average for the period (723.271 million m3) and a remarkable increase compared to the contributions registered over the same period of last season (120.001 million m3), assured ONAGRI.
