Monastir and Mahdia‘s local courts’ official spokesman Farid Ben Jha, confirmed that the public prosecutor office in Mahdia promptly ordered an official investigation after a prisoner fled from security guards while heading to jail. Jha further confirmed that an administrative inquiry has been opened properly against security agents who escorted the fugitive.
The runaway escaped after the judge issued a detention order against him for fraud.
