Five servicemen were posthumously promoted by the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the armed forces.
They were likewise adorned with the insignia of the Order of the Republic.
They are: Lieutenant Sami Ouannassi, Chief Warrant Officer Saïd Amari, Staff Sergeant Ismaïl Kheriji, Master Corporal Moneem Dalaii and Warrant Officer Mourad Feddaoui.
The insignia will be given to relatives of the martyrs, the Presidency announced in a press release.
