Democratic Current secretary general Ghazi Chaouachi assessed that the head of state Kais Saïd set up a commission on his size to fake the elections and subsequently keep power.
Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Chaouachi confirmed that “The democratic current objects the draft political agenda of Kais Saied, since it is an try to establish an authoritarian regime, of dictatorship and getting hold of all the powers (…) The mask of the President of the Republic has dropped, through the appointment of the members of the Independent Higher Authority for Elections (ISIE) on his waist to fake elections and maintaining power.” he said.
