Ennahdha leader Rached Ghannouchi told Reuters that the takeover of the independent higher authority for the elections (Isie) by the president of the republic Kaïs Saïed, indicates that the future elections “will lose all credibility”.
Ghannouchi added that Saïed’s decree to substitute ISIE members is “another try to stifle the Revolution”.
