MP and People’s Movement leader Heykal Mekki asserted that the movement is in principle with the formation of a political government because political life is based on parties which must play their part.
Heykal Mekki added that his party final position has not yet been formulated, as it is the party structures that will be in charge of taking that position.
He added that the Tunisian constitution and the political system are party-based, so they cannot be completely excluded from power and government.
Mekki said forming a government with independent powers will complicate matters and it will be difficult to give him confidence in parliament.
