Speaking at a joint press conference held today, the director-general of competition and economic investigations at the Ministry of Commerce Houssem Eddine Touati addressed the shortage of basic necessities in recent weeks.
The official confirmed that this crisis has been generated by some parties for political reasons.
According to him, these parties attempted to disrupt the anti-monopoly and anti-speculative operations carried out by the authorities.
