Qalb Tounes MP Iyadh Elloumi expressed on his official page, Thursday, January 29, 2021, on the attempted poisoning of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied.
Elloumi dismissed the news correlating to the letter containing a suspicious product on Monday, January 25, 2021, by the Presidency of the Republic, considering it to be organised information prepared and plotted in advance.
“The Presidency of the Republic is on the edge of a scandal or maybe several scandals, due to the invention of the story of the poisoned envelope, which appears to be a big lie,” he added. , stating that national security is in danger.
“This lie is a setback to national security, how packages can move and reach the chief of staff of Kais Saied, Nadia Akacha, without anyone realizing it, it is impossible by all standards”, he stressed.
“The presidency of the government asserts that Akacha was wounded while she was present at the National Security Council, during which the President of the Republic surpassed in creating tensions… Riad Jarrad the one who revealed the information was captured for spreading false news, then was released under pressure from the palace !!! ”, he added.
