A 40-year-old man set himself on fire this morning in front of the headquarters of the governorate of Jendouba.
Passers-by and civil protection agents intervened to rescue him. The man was afterwards carried to Jendouba regional hospital. He suffers from third-degree burns in several areas of his body, but his condition is stable, Mosaique FM reports.
According to sources, the young man took action to challenge the fines imposed by the authorities that caused the closure of his shop specializing in the sale of animal feed. .
