The director of the regional office of the Independent Higher Authority for Elections (ISIE) in Kairouan, Bassem Helaoua, revealed that 61 new candidacy files for the local elections had been acquired.
He added that the total number of applications was 264 applications (253 men and 11 women). Similarly, he pointed out that 45 young people under the age of 35 also submitted their applications.
