Tunisia-Local elections: 60 candidacies submitted in Mahdia

Sixty candidacies for the December 24 local elections were filed in Mahdia during the first two days of the application reception period, said President of the Independent Regional Electoral Authority (IRIE) in Mahdia Naeem Haj Massoud.

Among these people, two are with special needs and three women, he told TAP on Wednesday.

The application reception period will run till November 1.

Mahdia governorate has 13 delegations, 99 imadas, 104 constituencies and 205 polling stations.
