Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sara Zaafarani Zanzri, gave, during her visit to the governorate of Kasserine, today Sunday March 3, 2024, the signal for the launch of the Oum road development project El Qassab from Majel Belabbes’ delegation. She likewise revealed a call for tenders to complete the rehabilitation project of the regional road, number 122, with a length of 9.2 km, linking national road n°15 at Majel Bel Abbes, and the border between the governorates of Kasserine and Gafsa.
The Minister confirmed that the President of the Republic had authorized the work to be carried out, after he visited the State of Kasserine, and his review of the road on January 31.
She disclosed: “The allocation of funds required for the preparation of regional road No. 122, worth 15 million dinars, despite the challenging situation of public finances”, underlining that the construction will begin as soon as possible. time limit. And, concerning the reinforcement of the Oum al-Qassab road with regional road No. 122 over a length of 5 km, the value was estimated at 1 million dinars.
