In a radio interview, the president of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) Nabil Baffoun revealed that the meeting between the head of the state Kais Saied and the Vice-President of the ISIE Farouk Bouasker was ceremonial.
He, nonetheless, underscored that the president of the republic should have welcomed the ISIE Council. Baffoun, in the same vein, rejected changing the complete composition of the ISIE, indicating that there are still pending issues that should be examined with the President of the Republic.
