Tunisia-New government – Abir Moussi issues reservations against three ministers

PDL leader Abir Moussi expressed reservations against three ministers of the prime minister Bouden government:

THE MINISTER OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS: BRAHIM CHEYBI
According to Moussi, a Theology student earned his doctorate with first-class honours, while the thesis in question dealt with the “Intellectual Renovation of the Thought of Rached Ghannouchi”. Brahim Cheybi was a member of the jury. She emphasised the significance of the role played by the Minister of Religious Affairs in the fight against organizations and associations that intend to destroy the Tunisian social model, believing that Cheybi cannot be the person who will lead such operations.
WOMEN’S MINISTER: AMEL BEL HAJ:
Moussi said Amel Bel Haj was director of the 53rd edition of the Carthage festival before leaving for many reasons, including disputes with the then minister of cultural affairs. One of her interviews is published by the company “Believers Without Borders” which cooperates with the “Tunisian League of Culture and Cooperation,” she added.
Concerning the content of the interview, the new minister blamed the failure of the Ennahdha movement “on its lack of experience” and not on the “promotion of terrorism and obscurity”, calling for “collaboration” between Islamists and progressives, according to Abir Moussi. She furthermore claimed that Amel Bel Haj had debated in the same interview that the Ennahdha party was a “militant movement” which came to power at a difficult time.
THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION: FETHI SELLOUAI
When the PDL declared the existence of a parallel education system set up by some associations, Fethi Sellouati did nothing to “end the bleeding”. He has further dealt with various suspicious associations within the framework of the Mechichi government.
