At the start of the 18th regional congress of the UGTT in the governorate of Medenine, secretary-general of the Tunisian General Labor Union Nourddine Taboubi, asserted that “Tunisia is not for sale and that they are still operating in order to protect the nation”.
Taboubi has, in this sense, clarified that the transfer of the public sector is a red line, highlighting that the UGTT will oppose all tries to transfer public companies to the private sector.
