10,500 tonnes of olive oil will be available for purchase at 15 dinars per litre starting this Friday, December 15, 2023. This olive oil will be distributed across large, medium, and small supermarkets.
As reported a few days ago, the Ministries of Agriculture and Commerce have jointly decided to make an additional 10,500 tonnes of extra virgin olive oil available for retail sale to consumers. This quantity equates to 11 million liters and will be offered at a preferential price of 15 dinars per litre, commencing from today, Friday, December 15, 2023.
The distribution of this olive oil will take place nationwide in accordance with the recommendations of the President of the Republic. The initiative aims to provide Tunisian consumers with ample quantities of olive oil while considering the purchasing power of the citizens.
