President Kais Saied received UGTT Secretary-General Noureddine Taboubi at Carthage presidential palace.
Taboubi informed the head of the state about The Tunisian General Labour Union participation in the African Regional Organisation of the International Trade Union symposium where the Tunisian experience emerged as a role model in democratic transition.
The president was further informed about ongoing preparation regarding the commemoration of the 67th anniversary of the assassination of trade union leader Farhat Hached.
Taboubi also stressed during the meeting the need to speed up forming the government to meet the expectations of youth and the people and to guarantee security to combat poverty and unemployment
