The President of the Republic, Kais Saied welcomed this Wednesday afternoon February 2, 2022, the Minister of National Defense, Imed Memmiche at Carthage Palace.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the state hailed the role played by the armed forces in preserving the nation and state institutions.
The meeting concentrated on the contributions of the Tunisian army in different fields, including the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring exams, elections and rescue operations.
The meeting again focused on the state of preparation of the military armed forces and the necessity to develop their financial capacities.
