President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed welcomed this Friday, September 2, 2022, Imed Hazgui; President of the High Committee for Administrative and Financial Control (HCCAF) who handed over the annual committee report for the year 2020-2021.
On this occasion, several questions regarding the control bodies were examined, in particular, the necessity to change the legislation governing them so that these authorities fulfil their functions, and reach their goals.
The Head of State emphasised that it was not enough to write the reports, but that it was required to establish the legal impacts.
The press release from the Presidency of the Republic reveals that a draft text relating to the control bodies will be set up in general and will furthermore concern the High Committee for Administrative and Financial Control.
