Chairman of the Consumer Orientation Organization, Lotfi Riahi, revealed that the prices of Eid clothing for 2024 registered an upsurge of between 10 and 15 percent compared to 2023, while sports shoe prices recorded a 20 percent increase.
He stated today, Tuesday March 26, 2024, that the cost of Eid clothes for a child under 6 years old reached 250 dinars, while the cost for older children varied between 400 and 450 dinars.
Riahi declared there is still a high demand for purchasing clothes for Eid, pointing out the prices are too high compared to the family’s income.
