Tunisia-Prime ministry confirms extension of measures to confront COVID-19 remains dependent on the epidemiological situation

The Presidency of the Government issued a press release announcing that upon evaluating the opinion of the scientific committee and the position of the Ministry of Health concerning the measures to be taken to confront the COVID-19  pandemic, the curfew will continue in principle until December 30, 2020, with the rest of the measures being relaxed.

The extensions of these measures remain dependent on the epidemiological situation.

The prime ministry likewise asserted that its standpoint in this is the balance between securing the health of Tunisians, which remain to be the absolute priority and taking into account the conditions of many professional sectors that are most impacted by this pandemic and its economic implications.

It also reminded the obligation of complete adherence to these procedures and respect for the various special protocols that were established in order to enable some communication.
