House speaker of the House of people representatives Rached Ghannouchi announced on Friday, December 11, 2020, that Tunisia is going through a crisis like other nations of the world.
Referring to the situation in parliament, Ennahdha movement leader said that there is surely a challenging situation, characterised by various problems, but that there are positive indicators. In this sense, he evoked that the finance bill for 2021 was approved despite the disputes that took place between several parliamentary blocs.
Speaking on the Hannibal TV channel, he emphasised that thanks to this finance law more than 10,000 unemployed young people will be hired pending the recruitment of other unemployed people next March.
Ghanouchi indicated that state institutions operate together, quoting the police, the national army, justice as well as the three presidencies, specifically, that of the Republic, that of the government and parliament. In addition, he hailed the efforts made by the whole medical profession to deal with the health crisis due to the coronavirus.
